Gerina-Piller
She was conceived on the 29th of March, 1985 in Roswell near New Mexico. Gerina Michel Mendoza was her birth name. Gerina Stevenson, the child of Mexican grandparents Rita Stevenson and Alan Stevenson. Stevenson is of Mexican origins, however she is American as a national. From a young age the desire for her to be active in sports was strong. Gerina began playing golf at the age of fifteen. Gerina went to Goddard High School for her secondary education. As a high school student, Gerina took home her first prize at the New Mexico golf state tournament. Also, she played volleyball at the national level. She attended the University of Texas, Texas in the academic year. In her senior year she took home the top prize in every competition which she participated in. During undergraduate studies, she earned the titles as Conference USA Female Athlete and Conference USA Individual Player of the year.
