Arike Ogunbowale

Arike ogunbowale (born April 2, 1985) is an American professional player of the basket ball. She is a player for the Dallas Wings and the Women's National Basketball Association. She played in the NCAA basketball tournament with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, before being drafted by the Wings with the fifth overall selection of the 2019 WNBA draft. Arike Ogunbowale was conceived on the 2nd March, 1997 in Milwaukee Wisconsin to parents Yolanda and Gregory Ogunbowale. Mario Ogunbowale is her 26 year old brother, and Dare Ogunbowale, 20 years older. Since she was the eldest, her parents gave her the very best treatment. Her father Gregory was posted with the Nigerian Army for quite some time. Ogunbowale comes from a family with ties to the sports world. Her mother Yolanda played softball for DePaul as did her brother Dare. Dare plays football. Her cousin Endia Olive also plays volleyball in Tennessee State. Ogunbowale's name was in the honor roll of her school three consecutive year. She also received recognition for her achievements in high school with various accolades. Arike graduated from high school education through Divine Savior Holy Angels High School which is located in her home town. In addition to studying Arike also played on three varsity teams at Divine Holy Angels Savior High School. Ogunbowale led her school to a number of impressive wins thanks to her extraordinary skills numerous times. She compiled her High School career with 73 starts in her career and has a total of 1,477 points and 739 rebound. Ogunbowale played in the 2013 FIBA Americas U16 Championships 2014 World Championships of FIBA U17 2013 3x3 FIBA U18 Championships in which she was awarded Gold Medals. Ogunbowale was selected as the USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team on July 7, 2014. Ogunbowale is also a member of the ACC All-Freshman Team, after her debut season at a college. The coach even thanked Kobe Bryant. Kobe Bryant after she hit various big shots in the NCCA Tournament. Although still a newbie, Ogunbowale has made herself a top basketball star and is sure to continue on her path. Arike Ogunbowale's net worth, according to a credible source, is estimated at $5 million. Ogunbowale is a star at a wide range of activities such as basketball. Her other passions include soccer. She won State Cup titles for Lake County United Soccer Club along with FC Milwaukee Soccer Club. She played piano as well for 7 years.
