Jenna Fischer's best-known role was in the role of Pam Beesly from the popular television show The Office. In appreciation of her performance, she received an Emmy award for Outstanding Actress in a Supporting Role and received two SAG Awards.
The girl was born in Fort Wayne Indiana, she spent most of her childhood in St. Louis Missouri. Jenna saw her mother, Anne, perform in the church when she was younger and was able to instill a love for theater and performing.
Fischer was a theatre actress in her own country. She starred in the Off-Broadway show Reasons to Be Happy which was written and directed by Neil LaBute and co-starring Josh Hamilton, Leslie Bibb, and Fred Weller. Following her appearance in Steve Martin's most recent play Meteor Shower (an absurdist comedy with Greg Germann & Josh Stamberg), she performed in the Old Globe Theatre's record-breaking world premiere.
The cast of the show, including Angela Kinsey (the character mate to Fischer) as well as her actual best friend Angela Kinsey, who is from The Office, started a podcast back in October. The show was called Office Ladies. The show has since become extremely popular and has been a part of the Top Ten every single week. In its initial year, it had over 200 million downloads. In the beginning of January, 2021, Office Ladies won iHeart Radio's Podcast of the Year award.
The Actor's Life The Actor's Life is her debut book that describes the path she traveled from St. Louis, Missouri to Hollywood which is where she discovered her calling as a professional actress. Her second, Office BFF's (co-authored by Angela Kinsey) is an autobiography about her most beloved friend as well as their time in The Office.
